Kelly Bryant to Arkansas…It’s not as far fetched as it may seem

The last couple of weeks have been an emotional roller coaster for Ex Clemson QB Kelly Bryant. Just three weeks ago he was leading the Tigers to a thrilling victory in College Station over the Texas A&M Aggies; now, he is looking at transfer destinations. The former Rivals 4-star QB no doubt has many options, but his best bet might be one that few people see coming.

It’s no secret that Arkansas fans can be a little delusional at times, but Bryant to Arkansas is not all that crazy when you take a closer look. The main thing that sets the Hogs apart is Chad Morris. Chad Morris was the offensive coordinator that recruited Bryant to the Tigers back in 2015. Morris is the architect of the offense that helped Clemson win 2017 national championship. He is currently attempting to build the same kind of high power offensive attack in Fayetteville. With the Hogs’ recent struggles at the position, Bryant could come in and make an instant impact on this offense. Morris and Bryant’s relationship goes all the way back to 2014 when the QB became very ill and had to sit out of all football activity. The Tigers could have easily taken away the offer from Bryant, but Morris never wavered in his recruitment. This relationship might give Arkansas the edge over other teams vying after Bryant.

Another advantage Arkansas has going for them is their talent on the offensive side of the ball. The only glaring deficiency for the Hogs is the offensive line. There has been a lot of role switching in the trenches for the Razorbacks. Other than that this offense is littered with talent. There are 4 running backs that could legitimately take
