TTS CFB Rankings Week 6

  1. Ohio State- OSU struggled in the first half against Indiana, something that always seems to happen with no good explanation as to why. The Buckeyes were able however, to take their 6th straight game 49-26. This came due to an incredible 455 yard and 6 TD performance, adding to his already strong Heisman resume.
  2. Alabama- Bama put an absolute beat-down on a not very good Arkansas team this Saturday. Though the Crimson Tide were able to put up a staggering 65 points, they gave up 31 to a team who have struggled offensively all year. I attribute this to the fact that the starters were not in for the whole game, but any time a top team gives up 30+ points to a not very good team you have to shake your head.
  3. Georgia- The Bulldogs were able to dominate Vanderbilt, which everyone expected them to. This team has been solid thus-far, and have a great opportunity to prove themselves as a true contender against a reeling LSU team.
  4. West Virginia- I’m still not sold here, and I think that this will change sooner or later, no pun intended. This team will probably not beat Oklahoma, and though I disagree with what I’m about to say, a WVU loss will eliminate the Big 12 from Playoff consideration. I think the committee will put in worse teams (Clemson, UCF, Notre Dame) over 1 loss teams who played VERY hard schedules.
  5. Notre Dame- This team is always overrated in my opinion due to a weak SoS and easy wins. They will likely be undefeated, which is why I have them here but I don’t think that a playoff matchup with Notre Dame will be close.
