It’s All About The U (#5)

Welp. Another trashy season is about to go down the drain for the Miami Hurricanes. They answered many of the awaiting questions that we had about where their season would go last week when they played ACC opponent, Boston College. They had no life whatsoever. They played with no poise at all. They made mistakes that you would not normally see them make and were honestly pretty hard to watch. Boston College on the other hand made it known that they were there to play.

Their first two drives taking the ball right down the field and scoring touchdowns. A pretty big feat considering the fact that the Miami Hurricanes defense has been considered one of the better defenses not only in the ACC this year, but also in all of college football. They took control of the game and never looked back. At the half they led 17-14 and for the U there was some hope. But Boston College immediately snuffed that out intercepting Malik Rosier on the Miami first two possessions of the second half. They then stopped Miami again, when hope began to rise for the Canes early on in the fourth quarter. The Canes had a first and goal inside the 5 yard line, but Boston College had a stellar goal line stand that prohibited Miami from scoring and all, but pinched out any hope that the Hurricanes had of making another fourth quarter comeback. With their 27-14 loss last weekend it pretty much takes Miami out of ACC Championship contention, which is another blow to the Miami season.

So that pretty much wraps up all hopes for Miami fans like myself. Last hope is that we don’t blow another game in whatever subpar bowl we drawl and that whatever team we play doesn’t embarrass us too bad!

I would expect this to be a lopsided game. Miami will come out flat and play like they have nothing on the line. I would expect that Duke would roll all over Miami. Passing and throwing and doing whatever they want. I would expect Rosier to throw multiple interceptions to go along with a single touchdown pass. The only bright spot will be the running backs of Miami. I would expect them to rush for a few touchdowns during the game. This game will probably a high scoring affair.

Miami             31

Duke              34
